C-SNP Commission Changes
C-SNP saw tremendous growth in 2024 and 2025
As reported in the last MMI newsletter, UnitedHealth Group Leads Medicare Advantage Growth in 2025, UnitedHealth’s growth from Dec ’24 to Dec ’25 was driven by increased enrollment in C-SNP and D-SNP plans.
Another recent trend is the increasing number of Medicare Advantage plans changing to non‑commissionable status.
With C-SNP plans gaining traction, we wanted to see which carriers made C-SNP plans non-commissionable and how many individuals were enrolled in these plans as of December 2025.
Non-commissionable plans may not be as heavily marketed or sold by agents, potentially shifting market share to fully commissionable plans.
