July ‘25 MA/MAPD enrollment observations

1/ MA/MAPD enrollment count growth lags last year, though July was up.

  • MA/MAPD enrollment count grew another 83,797 (June '25 - July '25)

  • Up compared to 73,324 growth last year (June '24 - July '24)

  • YTD MA/MAPD enrollment count up 956,583 (2.81%) YTD (Dec. '24 - July '25)

  • down compared to last year 1,501,066 (4.66%) (Dec. '23 - July '24)

2/ UnitedHealth Group outpacing the rest of the market in 2025 (excluding acquisition growth)
