🎉Medicare Market Insights 2024 Recap
Happy New Year Medicare Market Insights readers!
This week’s issue is different than normal. No deep dive on a Medicare topic. Instead I wanted to spend some time looking back on 2024.
It’s easy to get into the grind of producing content and forget to look back and reflect on the past year.
Note: I got this idea from Blake Madden. He has a great newsletter called Hospitalogy that I’d recommend checking out (link)!
Milestones
In early 2023 I (Jared) set out on a goal to post content on the Medicare industry every day on LinkedIn. As my LinkedIn audience grew throughout the early part of 2023 it became clear to me that a weekly newsletter would be helpful for leaders in the Medicare space.
So, Medicare Market Insights was launched in July of 2023 and it’s grown steadily since. The growth has been 100% organic.
2024 was the first full year of publishing the newsletter and it’s fulfilling to look back at the results.
Subscribers
Subscribers at the beginning of 2023 → 0
Subscribers at the end of December 2023 → 1,766
Subscribers at the end of December 2024 —→ 4,700 (166% growth)
Publications
Number of published newsletters in 2023 → 24
Number of published newsletters in 2024 —→ 59! (this includes 10 publications only available to MMI+ subscribers)
Email/Website/LinkedIn Stats
→ Over the course of 2024:
163,000 emails were delivered
94,500 emails were opened
19,000 links were clicked.
→ In addition to the newsletter emails, the newsletter website had another 140,000 impressions.
→ My LinkedIn posts generated 3,300,000 impressions over the last year!
This is all very humbling and motivating!
Medicare Market Insights - Plus
One of my top highlights from 2024 was launching Medicare Market Insights - Plus (MMI+).
Members only content & our Medicare Advantage Enrollment Web Application.

Sponsorship
How did we pump out so much great free content in 2024?
We were blessed to partner with 4 sponsors during 2024.
Amazingly, 60% of the publications in 2024 had a paid sponsorship!
Huge shoutout to Modivcare who was our main sponsor in 2024.
They shared a super cool story with me about how a leader in the space came up to them at a conference and said (I’m generalizing). “I know who you are, you’re in the Medicare Market Insights newsletter! Let’s talk.”
Thank you to all of our 2024 sponsors.
Modivcare - They help connect SNP members to the care they need... Transportation, Personal Care, Remote Patient Monitoring.
Adsync Media - They make your phone ring with Medicare leads.
PX Inc - They help you improve retention and generate leads.
Clue - Using AI to put Legal Jargon into Layman's Terms. Lawyer Speak is Now Normal Speak.
